Channel founders wishing to apply for a eggdrop bot from #admin.bots must ensure their channel meets the following guidelines. Failing to meet the guidelines will result in your channel application being rejected.

All applications are replied to so ensure you provide your correct e-mail address in the application.

Once a channel has been provided with a bot, it is the founders responsibility to ensure other channel operators know and understand the guidelines.

1. At the time of checking, the channel requires a minimum number of 10 users. We also require the channel to maintain this number of users throughout the day.

2. Channels must not violate any network rules as defined on motd.webchat.org.

3. No channels which are deemed inappropriate (warez/hacking/sex etc.)

4. The bot must have Aop or Sop access in the channel.

5. You cannot have another bot in the channel.

6. Only the channel founder (as listed by /cs info) may apply for a bot.

7. The bot will be removed if the channel operator's deop, kick, flood or otherwise abuse the bot.

8. Any channel found to be in violation of the above rules will have the bot removed.

9. If your channel is declined, you must wait 14 days before another application can be made.

10. The final decision to add or remove a bot is solely that of #admin.bots.
