Submit your own poetry

If you'd like to submit your own poetry you can do so by e-mail me at royster@webchat.org. We'll display your submitted poetry in next months edition, in a first come first printed basis.

I would like poems in text format, and typed up as you'd like them to be displayed. Please attach them to an email rather than writing it out as email programs automatically reformat text. Please tell me the title of the poem and make sure I know your nick. I do not mind what language is used, as long as you tell me which language it is in, and please try to keep any profanity to a minimum. I will audit poems before posting, and although I don't want to censor too much if something is inappropriate, racist or rude in any way I will not include it. I will keep stock of any submissions, so if your poem is not published the following month then I may have allocated all poems for the month, and so it may be published the month after. At present I am planning on having a maximum of 10 poems per month, with at most 3 by any one author. I am not going to publish based on my own opinion as poetry is appreciated differently by different people, hence the opinions links at the bottom of each poem.
