    If this is the future or space travel, our species is doomed. It probably is anyway but talk about dumb ideas. All we need is the likes of Mike Boogy squabbling with some chunky, entitled, bikini clad bimbo about who is going to change the oxygen filters today and who gets to eat slop. I'd rather a virus wiped us out and the dolphins gave it a try :)

    But wouldn't it be nice to have several space capable companies; all with human space flight capability. The advantage to this system is that it will work with all the current ground technology making the costs far less than what SpaceX is going to have to put up. Also, the team working on this has a great deal of experience in human space flight. I only hope that all of the companies succeed. SpaceX and Bigalow for another space station, SpaceX, Blue Origin and Alliant for human and cargo lift capacity. Then we can start thinking about the Space Elevator.
